Neftekhimik players on two-way contracts have begun training camp in Nizhnekamsk. Before that, each player underwent a comprehensive medical examination.
According to team physician Timur Mardanov, the players are experiencing tremendous strain during the season. Therefore, the players' health is constantly monitored by the club's medical staff.
– «We are trying to thoroughly examine the players to ensure no problems arise during training and games», said Mardanov.
The examination program included an ECG, cardiac ultrasound, bicycle ergometry, laboratory diagnostics, abdominal ultrasound, and consultations with specialized doctors such as a surgeon, ENT specialist, neurologist, and ophthalmologist.
