Neftekhimik head coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following overtime win over Torpedo.
– Torpedo has been playing fast–paced hockey for the second season. Quick plays and fast attacks in the first period. Therefore, it was difficult for us. We managed to do our best and this played a key role.In the second, it was a little easier, but Torpedo still put pressure on us. I am grateful to the guys for this victory in overtime. We could have won in the regular time, but we have what we have. For us now, every point counts.
– WasKirill Urakov on the ice in overtime on purpose? Did you say something like: "Kirill, do your best for our fans!"?
– Firstly, kept us in the game. We do not have a special instruction for our players like: “Come on, win this game!” Everyone who is on the ice during overtime, wants to score. Both forwards and defensemen. Our fans remember Kirill for sure.
– Why did you decide to lineup for this game Artyom Zagidullin?
– Based on the training process, we see that he is getting optimal shape. Fillipp Dolganov is not made of iron. He cannot play every game in row. Now the time has come for Artyom.
