The head coach of HC Neftekhimik Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 4–3 win over Khimik.
– This game was kind of fun for the fans. What are your thoughts about today’s game?
– It was a hard-battled game. The opponent, of course, did not want to lose too. Khimik has many young and ambitious guys. Almost half of them arrived from Spartak. They also want to show their best game, in order to get into the KHL team. It was a difficult game. Our team played well. The young guys played great, they scored good goals. Of course, we need to play more disciplined and do not get such penalties.
– Could single out anyone today? For example, the fourth line scored two goals out of four...
– The season is long; everyone will have time to prove that they are best. Therefore, I do not want to single anyone out. All the guys did a good job, victory is teamwork.
– Ilya Khokhlov was captain today ...
– We have a number of experienced guys who are ready to be captain. Therefore, in each game at the pre-season tournaments there will be different assistants and captains. Before the start of the season, the team will choose a captain.
