Neftekhimik Head Coach Oleg Leontyev speaks with the media after a following 0–2 loss against Lada.
– It was a hard–battled game. We did not score, despite the fact that we made 50 shots on goal. The opposing goaltender played well and kept his team in the game. We had a great desire and played great. Everything worked out except scoring a goal. It is what it is. We are preparing for the next game.– Neftekhimik played with incredible dedication. We made 50 shots on goal while Lada made 20. The mistakes we made led to conceded goals. Is it connected with an anxiety or psychology?
– The more intense game is, the more ridiculous mistakes there. It is what it is.
– Neftekhimik captain Alexander Dergachyov did not play the last game.
– Alexander played great today. He played well with the puck and used his style, so there are no questions about him. If only our teammates would help as much as they can.They can play better. Their line is fifth in the league.

– We were preparing for the opponent. We looked at why the opponent has been playing so well in recent games and showing such good results. We saw a lot of work, skating fast. We were preparing for the game and did not want to lose this game. The first period showed that we were not ready to play at that level of speed, we simply had to defend the entire game. The guys did a good job and played with dedication. It is important win for us.
