PLAYOFF 1ST ROUND, GAME 4: NEFTEKHIMIK 2–3 TRAKTOR 03/07/2022

Neftekhimik was eliminated from the Gagarin Cup Playoffs by Traktor, losing 2–3 in Game 4 of the best-of-7 Gagarin Cup First Round at Neftekhim Arena on Monday.

Neftekhimik got a lead in the first period, Marat Khairullin scored first goal of the night. 

Traktor made it 1–1 in the second period. Two minutes later, Denis Vikharev scored his first career playoff goal and Neftekhimik regain the lead 2–1. Four minutes before the end of the second period, Traktor tied the game up for the second time, Tomas Hyka scored on the power play.

In the middle of the third, Andrei Stas scored third goal for his team. Neftekhimik was trying to find a way to tie the game up but the score would stay until the end.  

Unfortunately, Neftekhimik playoff run has come to an end.
