Oleg Leontyev, the head coach of HC Neftekhimik:

– It was a fast-paced hockey. The opponent put pressure on us in our zone, but we successfully defended. We took the lead, in principle, played well, and scored good goals. In the end, they did not understand the change. Unfortunately, we got a too many men penalty.

In overtime, we knew that Salavat would change the goaltender if they won the face-off. We got 3 out of 4 points from the road trip.

– Your team scores five games in a row. What is the secret?

– The fact that the team wants to make playoffs. We are trying to do our best.

– It was a good game from our side. There was good forecheck and skating. We have to give credit to our opponent. They are also a very dangerous team. They play well defensively and use counterattacks. Our guys did a great job from the first to the last minute. Well done!
