Neftekhimik got a win over over Vityaz 5–4.

Neftekhimik goaltender Anton Kislitsyn played his first KHL game. Vityaz scored first goal of the evening three minutes after the starting whistle. Fortunately, Ilya Fedotov tied the game up.

Vityaz took the lead four times and Neftekhimik tied the game up four times. 13 seconds before the end of the third period, Pavel Poryadin scored his third goal and brought Neftekhimik victory.
