Neftekhimik system

23.05.2024

Creating a hockey vertical that works clearly and jointly according to a single standard – this is the current task of the Neftekhimik system.

The first stage, the foundation for the training of future professional hockey players, is in process in children's school. In order to be maximally involved in the common cause, the coaching staff of the youth sports school ,and specialists were informed about existing work standards and a special seminar was held.

Neftekhimik Director General Igor Larionov noted that the first steps have already been taken to build a unified mechanism for the club’s work in terms of training hockey players. The first is to provide children and youth sports schools with equipment – sticks, shin pads, gloves, equipment, and create conditions for full-fledged training sessions. An important point is that the coaching staff’s focus on results will be supported by financial rewards depending on sporting results.

During the seminar, the advisor to the general director of the Neftekhimik for the hockey vertical, Sergei Levashev, spoke about basic principles of building the training process within the framework of a system of weekly microcycles. This will allow players to be fully trained so that they can grow and progress safely within the framework of regular training.

Sergei Levashev, Advisor to the Neftekhimik Director General:
– The defining word is system. We want to set up the work of the children's school in such a way that the children, when moving to the youth team, are prepared according to the requirements that we impose. This is general physical training, physical training, reading the game – in all the nuances. Coaches must work individually with each child on the team. Then there will be a result.

Sergei Kasymov, coach of the Neftekhimik Youth Sports School:
– It is important that we are now focusing on training young athletes, providing our school with methodological assistance, and giving us new information. Everything is a great help, we can add it to our piggy bank for further work.

Maxim Pyrkin, coach of the Neftekhimik Youth Sports School:
– We were introduced to the weekly microcycle, and clarifications were made on the training process. We were given some thing to think about and ready-made tools that we can use in the future. We must try and apply it so that the entire Neftekhimik system works in a single vertical and strives for a common goal. We hope it will have a good effect.

Denis Fakhrutdinov, coach of the Neftekhimik Youth Sports School:
–  We got a lot of new information. Hockey does not stand still, it is constantly evolving. New ideas are always welcome to get to know, I will definitely apply them all in the training process.
