Playoffs 1st Round, Game 1: Ak Bars 2–3 (OT) Neftekhimik 03/01/2023

Neftekhimik got an overtime win over Ak Bars 3–2.

In the first period, Ak Bars scored on the power play. Fortunately for us, that goal was disallowed due to offside. After that, Pavel Poryadin scored first goal of the game.

Late in the first period, Neftekhimik doubled its lead with a short-handed goal. Pavel Poryadin and Andrei Chivilyov on a two-on-one rush made it 2–0. At the 57^th second of the second period, Ak Bars scored its first goal.

In the third period, the opposing team tied the game up 10 minutes before the end of the third period.

After 14 minutes of the overtime, Poryadin set up Chivilyov for the game-winning goal. Our team got its first ever KHL playoff victory over Ak Bars.
